he needs a GREAT lawyer... someone with connects to get this on a blog, or news program, or out to the world... so it looks bad of them right off the top


most companies would rather pay you a quick 6 figure hush money, rather than spend that on lawyers, court, fighting public opinion, and maybe still losing... and then it's millions

Bro his coworkers came through today

When his manager fired him, they made sure to take his laptop and disable all his badges immediately. But the workers who were aware of the situations sent him a file of all the lates for the past few years.

There are 4 other current employees that were late way more than him (they were never written up). He traced all and saved it to a document.

It's clear he was unfairly targeted

I advised him if HR does not respond back with good news to get an employment lawyer ASAP.

I don't know, that's a very shaky base to try and build a case on. They have the documentation of him being late, and unless he can come up with receipts against the write up claim...and it's in Washington? Against a tech giant? If your boy doesn't get a high powered lawyer to strike fear in them and come to a settlement, it basically won't go anywhere. They will take him to court and bleed him dry.

Tell him to bring up everything he's documented and contact a lawyer.

He has every thing documented plus some, he has text messages were the manager was basically harassing him. All the emails showing the manager basically lying on record.

I think he has better chance, I know people that got paid out by amazon without evidence.

I already talk to few lawyers and they wanna take the case. They charge 30% if they win the case, nothing if they lose.

Union jobs for the most part are much better in regards to overall employment security. However, there are also a lot of shady Union Local Chapters/branches that are in bed with company management who don't give a fukk if you get fired. The Union will just go through the motions of pretending as if you & your rights are being defended, only because they're contractually required to. Furthermore, not all Unions take every workers case if fired, because there are some circumstances in which the Union determines after assessing the situation they won't or can't win in arbitration.

He was also loved by all the employees and was a really hard worker. They literally had nothing except for being late.

You're off their radar. The universe is pushing you into another phase of your life and you're looking back with revenge in your eyes. Start being frugal for rent, utility and toiletries, and push towards self sufficiency. I live in VA but i plan on moving around in the next few years. I'm broke, but if you start a business (start small) and i'm in the position, i'll help you out.

That's what I'm doing right now. Unfortunately my parents are pushing for me to get a 9 to 5. It sucks how most black people have this slave mentality. They're satisfied with being janitors, garbage men, bus drivers, nurses, and doing boring 9 to 5 office jobs. I'm trying to start an internet business so I can move to central america.

So my friend felt he was being mistreated at work by his manager. All the cac employees were basically allowed to make mistakes like coming in late or calling in sick all the time with no consequence.
When the manager scolded him infront of all the employees for something he didn't do, he reached out to HR. The cacs in HR basically sided with the manager.
I told him to document everything 4 months ago just incase they were looking for excuses to terminate him.
Today he got fired without being written up or placed in an improvement plan (companies policy).
My coli brehs, how would u handle the situation?
Btw this is a HUGE fortune 500 company
