There's no reason John Morrison shouldn't still be in the E, dude was supposed to be the next HBK and the future of WWE wit Dolph Ziggler. They had the makins of a classic rivalry and their matches were top notch, hell a Morrison/Ziggler tag team woulda been legendary. And that IC match Morrison had wit Mysterio was on some goat shyt.

Other than him the first ones that come to mind are Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson, they both had the look n/h and were good in the ring especially Kozlov wit his sambo background so when they finally let him use more of his MMA skills I thought he was gon go to the top. He even had a big push most notably when he first came on the scene, but at some point they just turned him into another jobber like they do wit most of the new guys they hype.

But the biggest wtf part was when they broke up the Kozlov and Jackson tag team on ECW, the two of them could've been dominant monsters like the modern day Road Warriors and Demolition if moved to Raw/Smackdown and given the straps but the E ain't give a fukk about the tag division back then. They'd prolly be unstoppable champions if they were still around these last few years wit tag teams bein relevant again, the Goliath Maulers had potential to go down as one of the goat tag teams b.

He was in a career endin' accident while on the come up :childplease:

Every time I see a documentary talkin' about Magnum TA, he always got highly praised by his peers to be next in line if he didn't get hurt.

the greatest babyface wrassler in my childhood, easy.
Sckraight cried when they said he was done.

I ain't even joking this time neither :sadcam:
Straight up on that one. I mean, this dude was given the privileage of eliminating THE UNDERTAKER from the Royal Rumble:

That should have helped push him to the moon, but 3 years later, he was out of the E. :beli:

:manny:Thats what they were sayin, announcers kept pointin out he reminded them of HBK and hailed him and Dolph as the future.

And add Cryme Tyme to the list, muhfukkas were the most over tag team in the last decade and ain't never get the titles.

I like John, but anyone could've seen that it wasn't going to happen for him (and it probably isn't going to happen for Dolph either. They're not going to let him be as irreverent as Shawn was, which was his main appeal as a character).

However, an interesting note: In addition to the character, the initial John Morrison promos were devised by Hennigan himself (at least, if I'm remembering Dave Lagana's story correctly). Which means that Hennigan didn't fukk up the character, he actually knew how to use his weaknesses (stilted delivery that screws with his ability to cut a good promo) as a strength (creating an acid-casualty character that would actually speak in that manner). WWE were the ones who screwed it up (cuckoldry, inability to hit his finisher correctly, and asshattery notwithstanding).

And there's no reason why Cryme Tyme shouldn't have at least had multiple tag title runs. None. How many #1 Contender matches did they win without getting a shot again? :bryan:
