It's why the product was so bad for sooo long. Storytelling has evolved so much since the 90s. Vince didn't. You have to evolve the storytelling in wrestling for it to become pop-culture again. Which the bloodline did and WWE under HHH has a huge focus on Long term storytelling. Which is what people care about.
