I feel for Gasol. When this new coach thing doesn't turn shyt around immediately, all he gonna hear is that he getting traded.

Nobody is expecting an immediate turn around.

The problem wasn't that it was taking time, the problem was that things were getting worse and it became obvious the team didn't respect Brown.

The very first game all the starters played together fans were hyped. They lost and you could see things they needed to work on, but you could also see LOTS of potential. After that game they steadily got worse.

If they had the exact same record but had been showing signs of improvement Brown would still have a job today.

He's got two rings. He's served his purpose, but as currently structured they don't win more than 45 games.

I don't see it. They are getting crushed.

This.

In fact, if they were good defensively, he'd still have the job because then he could hide under the guise of "we're working on the offense." But when the offense AND defense sucks, and you're a defensive-minded coach?

What did dwight say about the firing?

Nobody has said anything about it yet.

Dwight in particular really can't say much about it. He's already kind of getting blamed for it even though EVERYBODY on the team clearly had problems with and had given up on Brown.

I said as much after the second game of the regular season but most didn't catch on till the Utah game.
