They could bring back Phil, they could hire Sloan, they could bring in John fukking Wooden (not possible but you get the point), it does not matter.

Nash can't defend anyone and he's old. Kobe is aging. Howard is a fukking p*ssy. Lakers aren't winning shyt, period.

they got some issues, the biggest issue is that dwight is a UFA after this season

Seattle We Run You Nyggas Ask Russel Wilson
:whew:

Scola schooling nikkas with those slow moves in the post, and Frye on the perimeter spreading the floor.

I wonder what we'd have to do to get Josh Smith...

Josh Smith is limited. He is alright but I couldn't imagine him fitting in especially with his poor shot selection.

Or they need to hit up Portland for J.J. Hickson and Nicolas Batum.

I feel for Gasol. When this new coach thing doesn't turn shyt around immediately, all he gonna hear is that he getting traded.

 @ ESPN's coverage of this. Mike Brown didn't die. Mike Brown didn't blow up the Pentagon. Mike Brown didn't touch kids. He got fired. Keep it movin. They're asking every analyst except Broussard what they think

26 yr. old Josh Smith vs. 32 yr. old Pau Gasol, hmm.

Josh Smith adds a MUCH better defensive presence, and is a more athletic scorer than Pau. If Pau's going to be shooting 18 ft. jumpshots all day, I'd rather have Josh Smith on the wing running the floor with Howard and Nash.

The only problem would be if the Hawks did accept it, it'd just be a one-year rental and no way they sign both Howard and Smith. But, we're in "WIN NOW" mode.

Screaming A Smith is a fukking dumbass. The Princeton offense works. The Kings had it with Rick Adleman and were winning 50+ games a season with it. Mike Brown and Eddie Jordan aren't the ones to be coaching it to begin with . Brown is too passive to be a head coach in the NBA. Eddie Jordan :heh:

If the Lakers need to beg Phil Jackson AGAIN to come back to coach because they don't know how to win as a program otherwise would be just as a laughing stock with Phil coming back to save the day as this is.

Jim Buss on running the Lakers is equal to Triple H being given complete control of the WWE (non kayfabe) . A trainwreck waiting to happen.

Yeah the biggest problem with the princeton was the Lakers personnel. When the Kings were successful with it, they had shooters all over the floor, active perimeter defenders, the ability to score lots of points in transition, and depth. Lakers have none of that.

He should've never been hired in the first place( I don't understand why they didn't hire Brian Shaw), but who are you gonna get 5 games into the season to turn things around? This isn't something you do unless you got somebody lined up.
