No , the 2nd generation was the worst simply because it led to the crash of 1983.


However , this current generation is the most creatively bankrupt & dull especially with the technology available.

No, this has been a great generation if you are willing to try more games than what 1st party manufacturers will produce and are open to more genres. There is so much good stuff to play now.
