Dudes out here like "My triple fat goose will save me"...Dudes don't understand that companies use a sweet spot component to provide temperature ratings. They're not meant to be subjected to those temperatures for long periods of time. IE 5-6 months of winter. The coat will eventually lose it's ability to retain heat.

You will not be able to sleep in no damn winter coat and blankets in the winter cold, let it be a week of below zero cold and nikkas will fukk around and die

AC is a luxury. I lived forever without it until I came up. No heat can be fatal.

Exactly. They don’t understand that once that coat sits in a state of perpetual cold it won’t retain heat anymore and your ass will turn into a human popsicle.

Like a few posters said, I grew up with no ac, and using electric fans and even church fans to stay cool. I've always been told that us blacks are tropical people, built for the heat. I bask in the sunlight and love being outside in the summer. I can't stand having to bundle up in several layers of clothes to go outside and still be freezing during the winter. I'd rather shed layers of clothing than add more on.

I damn sure aint surviving a Buffalo winter with no heat tho

Space heaters can cover having no heat. There's no replacement for A/C when it's too hot outside. Although, Dreo Tower fans are pretty close

Put on enough layers when it’s cold and I’m good...there’s nothing worse than stripping down completely and still sweating your ass off

Unlike the cold, you cannot hide from the heat.
