both my seeds have strong african names,,, names are powerful, best believe that. my son name is W. African origin meaning hungry lion prince, and name after a great Mali King, my daughter W. African translates to she who struggles for her people, and her middle name translates to beautiful flower

Even though I'm West African, I don't have an African name as me and my fam are Muslims. My entire birth name is Arabic and so are my siblings and parents.

Basically I'm gonna name my kids with Arabic names obviously.

Of course.

Why wouldn't I! I am who I am regardless of what label America has categorize me.

My father named us very cleverly. Our first names are not ordinary American sounding names. I was named after a South African and my brother is named after a ball player from the time. We have African middle names.

Nah, if the bae let's me name the kids. The boy will have a shorter version of my name and the girl will be named after my mother.

I'm not African so no.

Everyone in my immediate family has a first name that starts with a J so I might continue that with my future children.

This sounds fukked up but I would purposely give my kids, if I had any, racially ambiguous first names. The middle names I would get creative with and do something more African. Reason being they are going to have to grow up and get a job someday. Want it easier for them.
