Would Pac & Big be as irrelevant in 2008 the same way Wayne is irrelevant right now?

Since alotta ppl throw Wayne in the goat convo, his run ended around 12 years ago and he is completely irrelevant right now, would the same have been true for Pac and Big in the late 2000s?

Pac would have been well into his acting career by now.

Biggie didn’t have this business acumen that most think he had

He actually did later in his career.

Which is why he was making the moves he was, before he passed. Dude had clothing stores and a line, and was planning out his own label and artists for the next 10-15 years. He knew exactly what he wanted to do with ownership and creatively, but was stuck in a deal that he was suing to get freed up from. The kinda sh*t he was trying to do in '96, is what we see so-called "bosses" in Hip Hop doing today.

That's what we know TODAY.

But 99.9% of teenagers signing deals with major labels in the 90's didn't know anything about publishing. It's easy for us to look back and say this, but we only know what we do today because we've seen the mistakes of others for mad decades. Dude was like 19 getting into the business.

You have young artists today still making that same mistake after 30 years of references on why they shouldn't. These dudes back then didn't have that kinda access in the early 90's. BIG tried to change his deal once he knew better. But they fought him on it.

Biggie would have been a mogul that got into other fields… would have moved down south where all the business was at.
I wished that Biggie and Gucci would have did some real song together, no made up shyts.

Let’s say Pac went to Atlanta in Sept 96
And biggie went to UK March 97

Diddy possibly gets killed in La
Suge doesn’t go to prison for 7 years
Pac and Big reconcile makes first watch the throne
Flashy bling bling era probably doesn’t happen
No limit and 2pac link up cash money probably don’t end up as big
Dmx Jay ja rule careers probably aren’t the same
Suge is still free who knows if Eminem gets
signed
50 cent probably beefs with biggie lol
Kanye probably doesn’t get the shine because Jayz career isn’t the same
Jay crashes out in 2003 either goes to prison or dies
2005-2008
Hardcore rap still going hard
Pac in movies, politics married to Jada lol
Biggie took Jay Z spot
No Kanye , drake, SoundCloud era etc

A lot could have changed if they survived

Cash Money would have been Big either way…

I could see Biggie rapping with Baby and Mannie Fresh talking that fly shyt like eating Alligator Pasta and having a Zebra colored Benz with Versace Seats.

While we’re at it, Master P would have told Pac to go in the studio and release his anger on the beats rather than beat on gang members.

They moved at the same pace too. PAC would have released 20 albums on NL.

Him and Snoop would have spoke in the room like men with Master P mediating between them. He wouldn’t have pit Snoop and PAC against each other either.

A similar question I asked on multiple forums before.

What is Nas was killed before the release of IWW?

We would have never got Nastradamus and his run of average albums. He's got a few classics, and I think IWW is a classic too, but death sometimes places artists on levels that living wouldn't have. If Nas was killed before the release of IWW, every New Yorker, including Jay Z, would swear he's the best ever off 2 albums. It's how life works.

If Nas got killed, QB would have went crazy…

PAC would have died and it would have been a bloodbath for him and Snoop

Vision, and learning from your mistakes and mapping out new ways to do business is what he was doing. He actually learned the business from f*cking up in it and was being taught by OG's in the business. Planning to start new companies and empower his own artists and retaining ownership of rights and finding methods to distribute product and media is what dude was trying to do almost 30 years ago. That's the kinda sh*t we praise people for doing today in music. He already had successful businesses, like Brooklyn Mint. He was able to make money away from the music. He was ahead of his time.

Dude was in interviews with this vision and speaking about doing this during an era when no one else was. B.I.G. would've been just fine, had he lived.

BIGGIE would shut down Gucci Mane's remedial lyrics.

Crazy thing is that Gucci said himself that he followed the model of Big Tymers and Project Pat…

Biggie would have had to dumb down his lyrics to double his dollars too.

Ironically people still quote Biggie’s eloquent bars including Jigga.

Biggie could rap about the trap and folks would still gravitate to him.

If Biggie was here, he probably would have liked Rick Ross now that I think about it.

Nikka would have won mad Emmy’s…

I could see PAC running up on stage at the Oscars and checking Chris Rock with his goons if he even uttered something slick.
