I haven't found any hoods scary since I was like 16. Nothing at all to be concerned with, it's just nikkas.Been in hoods in NY, NJ, and Philly and seen pics and videos of hoods I've never came across. Eh. If I ever go to countries like Mexico, Brazil or El Salvador and I'm in any of their ghettos then I'll actually be concerned because those people are actually struggling out there.

Went to culican mexico cuz wifey has family there. Didnt know shyt about that place before going (this was back in 2007)...stood at a ranch there and it was cool....ventured about 3 miles out and shyt was :lupe:

They realy bust their guns ouy there. I mean i head gun shot every hour and the roads are all dirt. The building were old and houses looked like they were made from garage doors and scraps of metals. Had no idea who the fukk el chapo was back then but had i know now i wouldnt even step foot near that place since i found out years later its his home town :lupe:
Honestly i seen and went thru so much shyt for the whole week being there i dont even wanna discuss it as i get a sick feeling reliving that shyt.

Growing up, I spent a significant amount of time in these hoods

Bridgeport, CT - family
Eastside Detroit - lived here
Richmond - family
East Oakland - family
Crest, Vallejo - lived in Vallejo
Oak Park, Sacramento - lived here
Meadowview, Sacramento
South Stockton - lived here
Crenshaw, Inglewood, Compton, West Adams - family and friends

Where I visited, but I felt safe for the most part given the circumstances
San Jose, Costa Rico - walking around the shacks to find food late at night
Southside Chicago for the 4th of July
Harlem
New Orleans

Where visited/lived and I felt unsafe
Southeast DC - shadowed Ballou HS for a day and walking through there had me grateful :whew:
Eastside Detroit - sitting in a friends car near abandon homes chilling and smoking for 10 minutes and one of the friends mentions "we've been here for too long, we gotta move before we get jacked":dwillhuh:

Also, one of the poorest and creepiest hoods I've visited was Bombay Beach right on the Salton Sea. I never thought a place like that would exist in America.

shyt I felt unsafe there in the daytime. My family from Gary and I been all through the Midwest (Chicago, Cincinnati, KCMO, etc.) so the poverty level was nothing new to me but St. Louis on a whole nother hype than the rest of the Midwest though. You can feel it in the air
I'm from KCMO shyt mad c4azy

Anyone of the housing projects in San Francisco at night will put you at a risk for being a unsolved case.

West side of Baltimore, got family out there and basically grew up there as a second home coming up as a youngin. (dudes on west side always said east was worst though and vice versa)

SE DC, don't even like stepping on that side of town. My mans stayed out there, would go to Anacostia Station and be nervous as hell
