Just in general :picard:
I was in some neighborhood in Buffalo, NY and was just astonished at how destitute the place was, I felt like I was going to get slumped in broad daylight, I can see why @DrX is in pain :mjcry:
A small rural area outside of Toxey, AL where my family is from. shyt is 2-3 room shacks, rural hoods are the most extreme forms of poverty here in the US, shyt looks like slums. No police, no hospitals, wifi has to be specially purchased and routed to your location, dirt roads with signs for roads that don't exist anymore :wow:
:snoop:13 days left......

Haven't seen it first hand but the South Bronx in the 80s. First hand was Tivoli Gardens in Jamaica first time I seen a crackhead smoking publicly.

I went to grade school at the Robert taylor.
Haven't seen any projects as big as those since. Each building was damn near a block wide.

The project buildings just north of them were just as big too :wow:
I heard they closed most of those down :wow:
The stories about those projects were simply off the chain :scust:
Kids getting killed because their neighbors were having shootouts, drug addicts in damn near every hallway, raid after rain after raid :gucci:
The fact that these were conditions people were living in :picard:

They tore them down like 10+ years ago which was a good thing imo bc they were beyond repair.

piss halways, broken elevarors, neglect, street organizations literally controlling each building snipers on security, yet soome nikkas actually preferred the projects over living on a block :snoop:

Turtle Island to DXB
Southeast San Diego, Logan Heights, Barrio Logan pre before the mid 00s. Chicano gangs, hitmen crossing from the TJ border drug cartels, dilapidated vacant homes filled with junkies and homeless people roaming about. Area has really change with near million dollar condos, breweries, Latin art districts and Roscoes is even coming. Now I can walk my dogs through there, still some foolishness but I haven't had any problems and I'm Black.
