There is potentially some VERY good news coming out of Germany. Merkel has a plan :ehh: .

FOLLOW THE DATA but as ever we have to wait for more corroborating information and for more studies.

So good news and potentially a major step forward.

:whoa: All those "we must know now" types fall back :hhh: .

The "I was sick in Dec / Jan" brigade might find this interesting. For the record I also had a really bad "Flu" in Jan.

Lastly I don't understand why Anglo-countries end up with such donkeys as leaders. What the Germans are doing is more common sense than "amazing" but they are working through this in a methodical manner.

Anglos gotta step their game up.

You keep mix-matching. The North American Indians have not "bounced back". Don't conflate and then dis-aggregate without ensuring consistency because comments about one do not necessarily apply to the other.
I never said that they had bounced back. I said they're still here.

No one here said that humanity will all be gone.

No one here said that humanity will not bounce back.
Then why are you bytching about the Corona?

These assurances are not justifications for broad individual inaction today.
I agree. However, I don't see the need to worry. Most people wash their hands anyway.
Many people are keeping away from each other right now.
Most people are more than likely asymptomatic when it comes to Covid-19.

We'll still be here. Think of all the pandemics humans have had since we've been on this planet for 250K years. How is this any different?

At the bolded part - And still here humans are. All ~7.8 billion of us. It's just something we going to have to get used to and adapt.

We'll just add to all the vius and bacteria that we have to on watch for. We'll still be here.

You keep saying "we'll still be here" like somebody said this was an extinction level event.
Nobody said that - of course we will adapt- ain't no choice.
but to answer your question "how is this any different".....
once again modernization and travel enables a disease to spread way faster than anything that would have happened 250k years ago.
even 100 years ago society was more localized and agrarian meaning most of your supplies/food came from less than 20 miles away.
When you bought meat that animal was not only alive yesterday the farm is less than 50 miles away.
in an urbanized world we are more dependent on services (America is 80% service oriented now) and manufacturing takes place much further away (China and India for example). your meat/produce is shipped in on trucks with coolers and goods have more preservatives for longer travel and shelf-life.
So - when a global pandemic hits a modern society thats more dependent on global systems/services it has a much bigger impact.

So no disrespect but - if your response to your sister getting beat up daily is "well you're still alive, you'll just have to adapt and add that to the list to look out for...." i dont know what/if you're contributing to the conversation homie

figured, but I fully agree with some sanctions or punishments, at the least companies need to start shipping out their manufacturing and coming back to their home countries.

This wasn't some sick animal stumbling into the public and getting a random passerby sick, this was people eating mongoose ass and bat wings, and to add insult to injury their back to the same shyt the minute they see the last corpse scraped off the pavement.
Wuhan Is Returning to Life. So Are Its Disputed Wet Markets

Bats have been linked to FIVEEEEEE fukking pandemics FIVEEEEEE and these jackasses continue to eat them, nikka how fukking delicious can a bat be that you are willing to endanger the entire world.:ohhh:

And this isn't the first time china has been urged to ban this shyt they do ban it but only for awhile and when they think shyts relaxed they lift the ban, but I'm supposed to feel bad because su wuyan is getting mean stares on the streets. :hhh:
Bipartisan lawmakers call for global 'wet markets' ban amid coronavirus crisis

The only good thing to come out of this is india dirty ass air has gotten dangerously cleaner which is a W within a L somehow.

I kid you not

They need to cut that out with that bullshyt 4 years talk knowing damn well they’ll throw us to the wolves in less than four months. Get ready for face masks to become a fashion accessory
:heh:

Really tho we need to be less worried about a vaccine and more worried about having a test that can produce instant results and an effective prescribed treatment that can knock the shyt out in a few days

seriously i dont know what Trump was thinking considering most of our manufactured goods come from China.
was he expecting Mexico and India to suddenly build factories overnight and supply America?
Now some the essential products are gone cause it's imported from China.

Trump crippled the agriculture and trade with his stupidness. :francis:
