Wonder woman made me wish they had done a few things differently in Cap: The First Avenger. Should've had a no man's land type sequence instead of the montage they did during the movie or at least just before the montage.
Instead we get Cap gets shield,War fighting montage, Bucky dies, Crashes plane into ocean. End of movie.

Wonder woman's highs were better, it was even a better movie until the 3rd act. But captain marvel was better, marvel solved the problem of an uncharismatic lead by surrounding her with charismatic people, plus everybody can't be tony stark

i thought CM being stiff and uncharismatic was just her character. she had amnesia and i just took her acting as how she was.... but yes in endgame she still shouldnt be stiff since its 25 years later.. but that another discussion

Captain Marvel was forgettable as fukk and has no re-watch value at all.

Wonder Woman's third act might be the worst fall-off in modern blockbuster cinema, it is just so incredibly godawful, but the build-up is excellent and is probably the best character building in a comic book movie since The First Avenger.

Nah man.I think WW is overrated, but CM is the most stale Marvel movie ever made.

Felt like a female version of the Green Lantern(Ryan Reynolds).I'd rather watch WW

every time. That would be torture, but not as torturous as having to watch CM.

I haven't watched Captain Marvel but I did read the plot on wikipedia and just from reading it and comparing it to Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman is a better film. Not a great film but a good film. Also Gal Gadot is more likeable than Brie Larson. Brie seems like the type to go off on a rant towards you if you simply said good morning to her whereas Gal seems like she would say good morning back or even be the first to say good morning/hello first.

I'm glad Captain Marvel made a billion because it pissed off the cacs who always scream about SJW. :umad:

Maybe I need to rewatch Wonder Woman but I don’t remember the 3rd act being this unwatchable abomination that y’all are saying it was lol. Thought the reveal of who the true villain was was a decent twist

Perhaps it's "on a pedestal" because it resonated with an audience, women, while Captain Marvel was just another Marvel movie that had the benefit of being a direct lead up to the highest grossing film of all time and a movie featuring a character nobody cares about but was hyped up as the one who would defeat Thanos in the Infinity War end credits scene.

The third act of the lost world is worse. Probably the worst third act in any movie I’ve ever seen. A complete train wreck. I really want to know what the fukk happened that Spielberg allowed that to be the final product or even wrote and filmed what he did. Captain marvel has a ton of problems too in a ton of writing aspects.
