Wonder Woman is overrated and Captain Marvel was better

I thought Captain Marvel was terrible. Just completely uninspired and dull with a lead actress completely phoning it in. I wanted to like it because I didn’t like all the hate Brie Larson was getting from angry white men but it ended up being my least favorite MCU movie.

Thought Wonder Woman was much better. Better directed, better story and the chemistry between the two leads was great. I think it ended up getting a bit of a backlash because the critics overrated it a bit but it’s still a solid, fun origin story and the best DCEU movie imo (still haven’t seen Shazam)

Shazam was better than both. But yea. WW >>>> Captain Marvel. That shyt was boring as fukk to me.

i didn't like captain marvel that much. Wonder woman was great though imo. The humor in wonder woman was more memorable and hilarious to me. Like the ice cream, baby, sex talk scenes etc. Marvel had cat humor. The action scenes up till the third act were much more intense, the no mans land sequence, flipping the tank. much better than marvel flying around shooting lasers. plus Gal Gadot more likeable and human than Brie. Which is ironic since Gal is some sort of Greek Goddess.

That was the problem with doing wonder woman for years, whoever tried to shove in, she wasn't relatable to the audience

Gat gadot came along way, I remember how awkward she was in the fourth fast and furious movie.

Meanwhile they told brie Larson no seven times

It also helps the actress are around their early thirties

Can’t wait til they finally get the Gawd Batman right, so I can take them serious idc how much praise WW gets I’m not watching another DC movie after BvS til I know they’re foreal.

CM I probably woulda never watched outside of the MCU.

I like Brie as captain marvel and it’s an okay flick but nah it’s Wonder Woman all day for me. Better movie around Gal than the one they gave Brie. Wonder Woman hits high points with its characters and moments that captain marvel doesn’t, although any time Brie and Sam are on screen together it’s really dope. Captain marvel is a fine as a flick. Wonder Woman is better.

Even the way Wonder Woman truly used its setting to say something about the character and her place in the world. Captain marvel just used the 90s setting for set decoration and cute shyt. Patty Jenkins and her writers were working on a level the other team wasn’t. But like I said it’s fine. I don’t dislike it at all. It’s just not as strong and doesn’t hit me as hard as Wonder Woman.

The sequel should be dope though and I can’t wait to see it
