no you wouldn't...women's hoop attracts who it attracts. women of all heights play bball at the middle/high school level and even then there is a much higher proportion of lesbian/masculine chicks. furthermore, at the pro/college level, avg women's hooper is 5'11"/6', women's volleyball avg height is 6' (a lot of 6'+ women in vball)...both are sports geared toward attracting taller women, yet you don't generally have the same proportion of masculine-presenting women in volleyball. women's sports in general attract more tomboys, but women's hoop has a whole other culture.

LFL targets women who are fine objectifying themselves, the point of their league is putting on LINGERIE and makeup to be sexually attractive while playing - that's not the average of what a women's flag football or rugby player is gonna look like - same way a Hooters chick aint gonna be the average of what all female waitresses look like - it's a self-selecting group. furthermore, you'd have the same outcome if you dolled up the WNBA, you can cover up how they'd "present" if left to their own devices..if there were a gimmick free football league for women, this is what you'd be seeing

5'9 is from the actual OLYMPICS average for Women's indoor volleyball. Thats a solid two to three inches shorter than the average for WNBA player.

regardless, I dunno why youre acting like I said its impossible to be attractive if youre over 6 foot. all Im saying in a league where thats a basic requirement, the odds are much lower.

I watch the womens NCAA tournament. Those girls ARE more dolled up and way easier on the eyes, whether or not its the female prison you're alluding. Same sport. Thats by and large because you have a greater pool of comparatively smaller sized female athletes to look at. Just because gay stuff happens in your locker room doesnt mean you can't be fine.

The football shyt only proves my point. Theyre not even "dolled up" and look better than any WNBA roster. I guarantee you the ugliest broads in that team pic are the tallest.

An entire league that is practically exclusive to overgrown gangly ogre ladies will never be eye candy, regardless of locker room culture or sexual orientation or whatever.

They need to stop dismissing and dissing men. Especially BLACK men, who are the biggest supporters.

It’s like they want to pick a fight with the wrong people. The biggest problem is that women don’t give a fukk about female sports outside of casual support for college stuff. The fans the WNBA does have are largely male…often black men, who just like basketball. But if they can’t get women to give a fukk it will never work.

Ironically the social media aspect is working. Their players tend to have a lot of followers, and lord knows any tweet about the “sexism” hurting the sport gets heavy retweets. But the same women who retweet that shyt haven’t watched a minute of a game.

The WNBAs biggest problem for the past decade has been targeting and marketing for WHITE WOMEN almost entirely. I say this as a huge fan. Diana turasi, Sue Bird. Stewie....

They began marketing towards the white women fan base, alienating the excitement of black women. Think about it - there's a reason Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, etc. are almost household names and their stardom was the peak of the league. The second they went away from that to cater to Sally Homemaker that watches collegiate bball was the downfall of the league.

They are changing that with new emerging stars - Aja Wilson is a prime example of that. You see her face almost everywhere. Even With the support of BLM last year, the revenue and marketing is only increasing. Someone, somewhere woke up and realize black women have the juice....
