A lot of brehs on here are young but I remember when the NBA and NHL had similar issues in the 90s. Teams would play playoff games back to back days because of another arena event.
The Bullets had this happen to them in the ‘75 Finals against the Warriors.
The Capitals got fukked over in a playoff series against the Penguins because of the circus.

The NBA was 25-30 years deep when the tape delay finals happened.
They don't promote the stars.
As a kid in the 90s it seemed like Lisa Leslie and Sheryl Cooper got mainstream recognition..shyt they may have been on the Wheaties box even.
Nowadays it's like who is known ..Sue Bird and who? Candace Parker?
And to be honest women playing a game like basketball doesn't look as appealing.
I mean a woman doing crossovers and tryna look like allen iverson ain't what's up.
And alot of them have demeanor like men.
