Norfolk had a chance at what last year? They got by missou, almost coughing up the game in the closing minutes, only to get annihilated by florida. Team was nowhere near making a deep tourney run

Only way an HBCU gets to the Final Four is if the team has a All-American caliber white PG, a white asst head coach, who takes credit for the defensive scheme and white cheerleaders. :shaq:

Yall trippin, all a HBCU needs is 1 NBA level ready player and they can make the final four

:what: morehead state had one a couple years back, and only won 1 tourney game. teams with talent and depth at that low of levels need a lot more than 1 great player. howd weber state do with lillard? team never even made the tourney

As someone that actually had a cup of coffee on an HBCU roster and played against top D1 talent, the difference in talent at the guard positions isn't that far apart...

The problem occurs at the 3,4, and 5 spots....That's when the men get separated from the boys and HBCU's get their dreams crushed...6'3" power forwards aren't the move

I've been saying this for years - that's how Missouri got clipped in the tournament last year, and Norfolk State had a decent post player which just did Mizzou in all together

but :pacspit: @ y'all niccas dissing HBCUs in this thread. negs on deck, pussies.
