Imagine if these games WERE exclusive and on gamepass day one?

Microsoft would literally just be burning through money to sell consoles at that point because they wouldn’t be making money on either.

They are willing to treat the Microsoft gaming division like the US government supports the pentagon's budget. The long term goal must be THAT important to them. Just throw money at it and it will work. I hope it pays out for then.

I'm just surprised that they have Obsidian along side Bethesda.


Bethesda been trash lately, but Elder Scrolls 6 or whatever number we are on looks more promising now. Maybe they can pull Obsidian resources to help make it work.

Either way, this is crazy news for the gaming community.

Developers have a chance to make money off of old ass games and cut Gamestop out of the PIE by licensing to M$.

Sure, M$ is losing $$$$ by giving away their first party AAA titles but GamePass will eventually pay for itself. After all, it's running on Azure their own cloud service.
