The “anonymous” quote actually says nothing about activision.

That part was added by sony stans trying to set the narrative that the activision purchase was a “bad” thing for xbox.

In reality the entire tech industry is facing a difficult
revenue and profit situation.


Its how you have studios like Insomniac making very successful games, using very popular IP, but still facing layoffs.

As always these threads only exist for fanboy wars not any real industry analysis.
