You said grant was on the same level of Aaron Gordon. Tell me when Aaron Gordon was being a #1 option and a scoring 23 a game and playing in the Olympics.

Kat is weak and kyrie played with nobody before lebron came back. And we were talking about competing for a play in spot which is winning 35-40 games. I guess you switched the goal post when you realized you was talking silly. Talking about transcendent talent. Like you need lebron james level talent to be able to win 35-40 games. If the pistons are not winning 35 games in our gm 4th year then the whole chit is a failure. I have more faith in him and don’t care about what was going on with weak ass Karl Anthony towns or kyrie playing with boobie Gibson and Anderson varejo and Anthony Bennett.

Aaron Gordon is a better player than Jerami Grant and Denver actually upgraded swapping one out for another.

As I will say again, once you end up in the lottery, it's hard to get out of it. A lot of those young dudes actually look worse now compared to how they performed last season. That's regression and not progression. How do you expect them to win 35 games in the 4th year when they're literally going to start all over again in the offseason looking for new young talent to replace what isn't panning out so far?

It takes trial and error to figure what young dudes you keep long term or move elsewhere. Building a playoff team isn't that easy or a lot of teams still wouldn't be stuck in the lottery even with the lottery picks that they have had.

How many years did it take Memphis after getting morant? How about the hornets after getting ball? Mavs after getting luka? Nuggets after they got joker?

You want me to keep going cause there are plenty more. When teams get that guy in the draft it does not take long for them to be able to win 35-40 games with their star. 35 games is not some amazing feat in the nba in case you don’t know.

Teams that get stuck in the lottery are bad organizations like Sacramento

Aaron Gordon a better player than grant. Yeah ok. Is that why Orlando got rid of who was suppose to be their centerpiece for a could picks in the late 20s

None of those players were the #1 pick though :mjlol:

Luka is a transcendent talent and should have went #1.

Denver went to the playoffs in year 4 of Jokic career, but he benefitted from having other good players around him. He's also a transcendent talent himself.

The Hornets had talent plus brought in other talent around Melo. They also had to overpay for Hayward in the process as well.

The Grizzles had won 33 games the season before Ja was drafted, so they had already had the foundation in place for Ja to elevate them to the playoffs. They literally jumped from 8th to 2nd in the draft to get them.

A lot of those young dudes in Detroit look worse now compared to how they did last year. That's regression and not progression. Orlando traded Aaron Gordon because 1. He was a free agent this offseason before he re-signed with Denver and 2. There was no use in locking up long term as they are in the midst of a rebuild and years away from even competing for a play-in spot.

Where sir i say they was #1. I said once you get your star in the draft it doesn’t take take long for things to change and start to win a few games. Once again we were talkin about competing for a play in spot. Which is around 35 wins.

Orlando traded Gordon because he was a bust. Went from supposedly the guy to being the guy to just being a player in Denver.

hornets was going nowhere before ball. Grizzlies got rid of that foundation your taking about. Morant never played a game with Gasol or Conley.

Oh no our young players had a slow start to the season. Whatever will we do. No young players has ever played subpar and then got better.

I don’t understand why you are attempting to fight so hard that a team can’t improve once they get their star. You acting like i said they would be playing for a title. We just watched Julius Randle drag a rag tag bunch in New York to the playoffs.

He also needs to stop being so careless with the ball. He got like 10 to's tonight. Casey offense ain't doing them no favors, but a lot of it is just being way too casual or careless. He gone have to tighten that handle and stop jumping to pass.

:what:And where the fukk did Bey's j go?

The crazy thing is that he was his normal self in summer league and he’s been healthy.

From what he was showing in summer league and the first couple games in the season I was expecting big things from him. As always, it turns out we are the anti San Antonio, where they turn shooters into bricklayers in record time.

I’d take this from him as a baseline

meanwhile somebody tell icewood he’s not curry why all his shots been threes

Hayes just needs his minutes. Casey might as well let him log heavy. Cade gets caught in a lot of bail out low percentage shots/threes at times, Hayes too due to certain cats like Grant being a blackhole on offense at times:francis:

*edit

Cade did his thing to close out
