Even on the Chronic you got pro black material. At the same time HBCUs were getting a ton of exposure. The powers that be simply made it hard for these kinds of rappers to eat

This is getting closer to the issue. All this blaming black women and black men is falling right into the trap. There's nothing wrong with our people. The problem is the mind control.

I actually consider myself very flexible when it comes to the people I "talk, to.You can be basic (regular black boy with swag,smokes weed every now & then,parties on the weekends,NO criminal record, etc) or a nerd, Just don't be corny.The guy I'm currently interested in has swag but is also very smart & a deep thinker.I consider him a nerd lol but he's cool at the same time.He is the best of both worlds in my opinion.I find that the guys I've all been attracted to have the same things in common(laid back,swag,smart,confident,not nervous,deep thinkers,respectful,& tall).

This is my theory and guys are free to chime in...in the western world blacks are minority. Black people are discriminated...black men see white women portrayed as the alpha females and lesser of the two evils. Some think white women have a higher concentration of good looking women, some prefer white women and appreciate that they predominantly wear their own hair, come from stable units and will more likely view black men as uncharted territory. But in all of this it comes down to numbers...a black person is less likely to give his own race the benefit of the doubt than he would another due to sheer novelty. Now that well off black men have some kind of currency or physical attributes that they can leverage to attract other races, thy want to use it to their advantage. The same advantage is not extended to the average black woman that is why some black guys love to bring this up in these kind of debates. So they can say despite all y'all degrees no one wants to be with you besides us and even more of us don't want y'all.

It's like black women are two dimensional they are either ugly or gorgeous...sloppy or overly superficial ...hoodrat or bougie...fake or too abrasive.

But I'll add this...it will be interesting to see the next generation of young black women react and handle these criticisms....
