i just hit the dekstop tile


so far only issue i see wit this is like of apps

no dedicated facebook app
no dedicated youtube app
no dedicated browser apps (chrome,ff opera)

If by browser app you mean that it runs from the metro screen than Chrome has one for sure.

When you install chrome and set it as your default browser there should be a big icon on the Metro screen for it.

There's really not a difference between the desktop version just bigger tabs.

Tablets are gonna eat well though

Ya but I don't like the fact it's not in the app store, and the metro chrome runs separate from my desktop chrome app which makes no sense neither

Am really feeling the metro effect though, messaging is

I'm def feeling the email metro app,

They def got to do some tuning to multi monitor support though. shyt tough for me to get the side UI's to pop out. I think they should have stretched the Metro UI across all monitors.

Yea it is, am upgrading to windows 8 ASAP

Has anybody been having issues with there mouse or keyboard glitching? Nothing big but when I type sometimes it will delete words and the mouse feels sluggish, i adjusted its speed already

^Haven't run into that problem.

I'm intrigued about the Windows to Go feature. shyt lets you run Windows 8 on the go off a usb like a live-cd. Going to try it on my laptop later. It looks like it'll only be for enterprise editions though.

If Windows 8 is anything like Windows Phone it will most def be piff! I'll cop the official versions when they drop in october
