No I can answer your question. you just don't like the answer. Colin is professional athlete and that is his profession why hold that against him? Would you tell a doctor to leave the medical profession because he encounters racism and choose to become an engineer? The problem is with the NFL is that there isn't an equivalent institution in this country so Colin has to fight.

Yes Colin does need to play in the NFL to bring awareness. When he plays, he is more visible and has more of a platform.

Secondly, the NFL is in America isn't? So how can an institution be insulated of racism if it is located in a racist country?

Colin is financially set for life. And he is famous and well known.

Plenty of NFL players have left the game to pursue their life mission.

We always talk about Black group economics, be your own boss, blah blah but now you trying to tell me that Colin needs to work for the white man to help Black people.

Like he isn't already popular and rich and can't do that now without being on a roster and spending the best years of his life working for the NFL.

Whatever dude.

And I already know the answer to my own damn question. Just wanted to see if you were gonna say it.

If he does not have a team by opening day I will not be watching. Told all my friends too, and they'd definitely put me on blast if I went back on word.

I've never understood the "he's a distraction" angle when people try to argue a player shouldn't be signed. We've all played sports, some went further than others. Has anybody ever not been able to play their game because of what a teammate does on his own free time??

I don't get it. Is Kap handing out pamphlets in the huddle? What one player does in his free time has no affect on how other grown men do their jobs, period.

I don't like the dude's game...But he's a top 30 QB in the world. Should have a job.

White people are offended by him, and when they're offended, they have the power to completely shut a nikka down. If blacks are offended it's either "calm down" "it's not a big deal" "If you don't like it, leave!"

That distraction shyt is deflection.

If the NFL was so bad and racist, why would Colin want to continue playing in it for a racist team? He's not broke or struggling. He can retire and put in more work.
If you struggle to understand how race plays a factor in this whole thing then I'm not sure if I should take the time to come up with a response. I'm bewildered by this post.

Ain't no confusion :camby:...Neg the c00n and keep it moving :birdman:

I won't be boycotting and hope to go to the Colts game when they are down here in Houston. I agree with what Kaep did, but not going to stop watching football. :manny:

I find it funny we got NBA heads in here talking about blackballing the league now, like the NBA didn't do this same basic thing to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.

If I see you at NRG

Colin doesn't need to play in the NFL to bring awareness.

Also, choosing to play for a racist team is not the same as being born in a racist country.

You can't answer my question.
Millions of people everywhere watch football every sunday

That is a VERY good place to make a statement :what: the hell you mean

If he wasnt on a football team doin that shyt we wouldn't even be havin this conversatoon right now, that in itself speaks to the power of being on that screen every sunday

Fyi humans typically try to change things from within FIRST.
