Will this next Marvel Phase live up to the One that just Ended?

The phase that is ending is the culmination of a decade of 20+ movies with an overarching story. shyt is basically a jumping off point. So no I don't think the next phase will...

I think they’ll have mini-major events.

Like Namor vs Black Panther,FF, and Falcon. Build it up through those movies but not in others.

I know... I’m saying Doom has a large enough canon to warrant a movie that doesn’t even have F4... they could influence it but they don’t even have to be in it. Doom could literally be a follow up/Spinoff to a F4 movie on his own then be their villain in their sequel... or at least just have Reed be in the Doom origin tale

Doom is another rare case that could have gone against F4, Iron Man by himself and the Avengers as a whole In 3 different films

The next Spiderman movie ends phase 3 so this phase isnt complete yet. No the next group of movies wont match phase 3 of the mcu as that includes the following movies.

Civil War
Dr. Strange
Guardians 2
Spider-man: Homecoming
Thor: Ragnarok
Black Panther
Infinity War
Ant Man and the Wasp
Captain Marvel
End Game
Spider-man: Far From Home

We know there is a Guardians 3, Black Panther 2, and Dr. Strange 2 but outside of that we dont know what is planned. Whatever it is it wont have Infinity War and End Game level movies in it as those are films that had 10 year build ups not 3.

it's gonna be hard to top cap and iron man's star power but they're in really good hands. there's a lot of stories and angles they can move forward with, especially now that they have properties back from Fox.

seems like BP, spider-man and cap marvel will for sure be the face/stars of the next generation, but i'm hoping GoTG have a bigger role in the MCU now. they're at the top of my list for favorite characters/group now.

Phase I was basically the MCU in its infancy. When they teased Thanos at the end of the Avengers they had no idea it would end up the way it did.

SO it would be hard to duplicate that evolution. They have their formula and what they want to do well defined. It's also why they aren't in a rush to incorporate the X-Men and Fantastic for into the MCU, because they pretty much have the next 5 years mapped out.

Low key forgot, marvel will be able to use the Netflix characters in a couple of years. I'd like to see king pin, punisher and dare devil on the big screen again.
