Honestly the case of X men aint even trash, the movies simply arent good.

They need to keep Magneto and Professor X, everyone else could he recasted and i wouldnt trip really since they werent even that focal since all of the X men movies were really about Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto and the Professor.
Feige said no xmen for the first 5 years

Plans were done in advance advance

They bout to do it again

The final ten years?

Will reveal Tony stark as an adopted baby who was given to the starks by a past avengers team rekt by Kang, to prevent tony from becoming kang which turns into a disaster. The whole first mcu will be revealed as an alternate timeline

They will have to return baby Tony to his original parents to stop tony from becoming kang and contain or kill Tony who sits at the end of time from stopping them.

Hell maybe be a future version of Tony that tried to conquer all timelines after Thanos rekt earth in an alternate time line when loki got the terreract.
Remember me :umad:

Got to use Dr.Doom to build up to Galactus
Yes, low key Doom, should be the next phases Loki, and Galactus should be the next Thanos.
Introduce all the fantastic four gallery , Silver Surfer etc. do those stories.

So part one is the Avengers Saga
part two is the Fantastic Four saga
then part three in 5 years can be the x-men saga.

I don't even want them to introduce X-Men into this to be honest....they are fine without it.

It just doesn't make sense to add mutants at this point. Unless you have some cosmic event pull them from some alternate dimension where they have always existed on earth, but even that sounds silly. Mutants have too much history to not have them embedded in the story day 1, they can't just pop up. I think that fact alone will keep X-Men away from the MCU for a while.

Them not being around the whole time impacts the origin of some characters but doesn't reallly effect any of the most popular comicbook arcs.
Ok so wolverine is actually 30 instead of 200 years old. Looking back at all the fox movies, the only thing this change would effect is Wolverine:Origins.
we're a bit too far removed from world war 2 now for Magneto to have origin set there without being an elderly man in the present so thats a good retcon there too. I don't see why anything else can't be built up slowly over the next 5 years before actually revealing them. Make them younger versions of themselves like with spiderman and have the present day be the beginning. Sort of Like First class did but without being set in the 60's.

I've never been a big comic book head, so the phases down the line may live up to the hype or be better than what's come so far. I don't know. But speaking as more of a general consumer tthat likes the MCU but wasn't familiar with any of these characters besides knowing their names...I think Endgame might represent the climax.

They spent over a decade and almost 2 dozen movies building to this point, and they made me go from not knowing shyt about any of these characters to making me care about what happens to them. I just think it will be difficult to build up that momentum again and have it pay off in the same way. Black Panther and to a lesser extent Doctor Strange are the main characters going forward that I have interest in. I can see a lot of casual fans maybe being slightly less interested if RDJ, Evans, or Hemsworth aren't involved.

I'm sure comic book fans will eat no matter what, and I don't expect a sudden drop in quality from the MCU. As far as the general public is concerned with these movies, I'm not sure Endgame's numbers will be topped anytime soon, by any movie (MCU or otherwise).

It won't. This is an unprecedented cinema event. To formulate another 10 year overarching plan isn't as feasible with so many interesting characters in their own right. Maybe 2-3 movies leading to a 4th or setting the stage for another franchise. but definitely not 22 movies leading to a two movie finale.

But organically introducing the X-men and FF4 and the rest of the cosmic galaxy will be entertaining enough.
Agreed

The brilliance of the MCU was that they took B-tier and in some cases C-tier characters and made them A-tier characters through the movies. Why would they change that now? :gucci:
I agree but I think the problem is the person they chose to be the new face of the movies going forward just isn't all that likeable, on or off screen.
:yeshrug:

Black Panther should be the face of the MCU going forward IMO. If not him then someone new, but definitely not Cpt. Marvel.

Rdj is a damn good actor....nobody on the current roster compares

Strip black panther down and Chadwick is boring :yeshrug:

Thor and starlord are nice but still mainly comic relief

Brie Larson and captain marvel seem like :trash:

Basically peter Parker/Tom Holland is gonna carry the series for a while
