Where The Grass Is Blue
Nah dude:jbhmm:

While the album was dope as hell (Still is), it didn't usher in this generation quite like this album:

This shyt felt like the voice of the disgruntled 90s/2000 kids that needed a change from what was already out. When this drop, so did meme culture, weird sounding effects on albums, and folks not pulling back on saying the most ridiculous shyt on the album.
It definitely ushered in the hypebeast era we're in...I never heard any mention Supreme, Stussy, etc. before this tape

The chance? How have you not had the chance to listen yet?

Because I get way too overwhelmed listening to all these albums sometimes. Things don't even sink in half the time. :mjcry: Besides, after I couldn't find it last summer, I moved on to other stuff like Doggystyle.

Took me four tries to even make it through ATLiens. :francis:

ATLiens is an easy listen to me.

Doggystyle edges The Chronic to me.

There was a classics discussion on OutKast last year and it made me want to listen to their catalogue. I heard their first album and it was :blessed: so I knew I was in for a treat.

Heard ATLiens for the first time and after the first three tracks: :whoo: :obama: :ooh: :ohlawd:

Trying to listen to the rest of it: :ld: :why: :skip: :patrice: :gucci:

After that, I tried two more times and I couldn't finish it. But that fourth time was magic because I was finally paying attention to it. I stopped comparing it to the first album and just took it for what it was. Then it became :blessed:.
