Your first post didn't say anything about it being "big", but okay...

No Way Out wasn't all that, and "big"?
Regulate...G-Funk Era wasn't all that, and "big"?
Ghetto D wasn't all that, and "big"?
even before The Chronic, you had NWA And The Posse

There's a grip of artists (espcially producers) who tried to make a Chronic-type album.

Outside of the albums that came out before, obviously, one could argue that none of the other albums in that list exist without The Chronic. It was definitely a blueprint for Ghetto D. In terms of the producer being the main artist on album and a showcase of different artists on the label, it was definitely a template for No Way Out. G Funk existed before Dre, but Dre popularized it and Chronic is the biggest G Funk album, so there's an argument that Warren's album wouldn't have been what it was without Chronic.

All those albums dude named aren't even on the same level as the chronic. Idk if hes talking bout ghetto d by master p or some other album, that master p album is :trash:no way out isn't an album that's even mentioned amongst great records.

The fact remains that those albums check all the boxes in the first post of this thread.

I'm not pitting The Chronic against those albums, i'm saying those albums are "quite like" it as the title says.
