Will Thanos (MCU) ever be topped as the GOAT comic book movie villain?

When I think of the AoS version of Graviton, .....

as far as small scale goes he was actually pretty cool in the show imo. The way they had him murking folks was

The issue with Apocalypse is that you need a minimum of 4 movies to even approach telling his story in a satisfying manner. And you can’t really backdoor him like Thanos, where his presence is felt, but not necessary to drive the story.

TBF, Thanos was hyped since GOTG/Thor movies. He was in the cut during those films before they released IW and EG.

Iv seen people say this but I never read any x men comics, how much more powerful is he?

Also, I don’t understand how they’d incorporate x men/mutants into the mcu at this point, is that actually planned?

Let's just say Magneto has the kind of power that can defend himself against anybody...that's why the Avengers or the X men never go looking for a fight when he blackmails the world or punks out Cable, Captain America, the United Nations, etc..Galactus gave a kill shot in Secret Wars and Magneto blocked it. But his genius, charisma, and versatility are his true weapons.

The reason they built up Thanos like that is because they couldnt use Doom or Magneto..Thanos would of been used but so would Surfer and he would be the key to stopping Thanos..not some earth hero..lol

I dont think history will have Thanos overcoming Ledger’s Joker as GOAT Villain but Thanos sure did/will give him a run for his money.

This. Marvel did an outstanding job with Thanos, but Heath created an iconic version of an already iconic character. What's sicker than that?

To top thanos it would have to be a bigger threat than him so it would have to be another cosmic being. Ego in GOTG 2 seemed big enough for a galaxy level threat but the only thing big enough left mentioned and connected to all of the characters in the MCU are the celestials.

They are linked to Wakanda’s vibranium,asgard and all superpowered beings due to genetic engineering. Maybe thanos destroying the stones make them reappear. Dormammu out there still too with no time stone fukkery to check him

I really don't see how Joker is better than Thanos. And I'm saying this as someone that considers "TDK" a better movie than both "Infinity War" and "Endgame".

The difference here is even though Thanos was a great character he had a bunch of hype going into the movie too. He didn't just show up & fukk up shyt.

Joker & Killmonger just came through & did their thing, no extra hype.

If Zemo had more scenes he'd be up here too for me. Did what he planned, outsmarted the Avengers & won. All without a fight scene.

I think a proper Magneto can take the spot too.

Smh at folks couldn't wait to try to shoehorn one of these marvel villians into the top spot,its the Joker and Bane at one and 2 for me.
They won't get the proper respect just because Marvel films are more cartoonish and fantastical.
But Joker and Bane were both entertaining,had better quotables than Thanos more importantly. And in terms of classic scenes I just think they had more standout moments. How did you forget the plane and sewer scene from Bane so quickly smh?The Joker car chase scene,bank scene,hopsital scene,too many to name. Also if your going to mention Zemo,Winter Soldier needs some love too. Every scene where he was doing Winter Soldier shyt is a god damn classic. I know he sucks as Bucky,but the Winter Soldier is one of Marvels best villians hands down,and doesn't get the respect!
