This is pretty much the same kind of game as bloodborne.

they're some of the greatest games of their genres to the point where they brought in people that never would've fukked with those types of games at all. and both came from studios that got several cult classics to their resume.

returnal ain't coming close to either of those
and housemarque ain't got that kind of clout to warrant such high expectations either

being skeptical for a game like this ain't crazy at all

That's the base price for Next-Gen games going forward, unless the publisher decides to price it for less.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t niche games, bloodborne sold a little over 2 million, and hades even less. There’s a difference between games that are mainstream hits and cult favorites, BB and Hades fall into the latter 2.

We haven’t played Returnal so we have no clue what impact it has on gaming or the genre it’s in. All I’m saying is that all 3 of these games are niche titles that emphasize gameplay over everything else, they all also happen to be challenging, rogue-like-ish games.

Its funny nobody ever brings up Bloodbourne when that's one of the greatest games of all time
