belief and truth don't always go hand in hand

for example I don't believe that we have been visited by aliens even though there are many people who claim to have been abducted.......so with regard to whether I believe aliens have visited earth I am an atheist.......however I do not claim that to know with 100% certainty that aliens have NEVER visited earth.......I just have never seen credible evidence to change my belief

its the same with God.......I don't believe he exists because I have yet to see credible evidence to support the existence of a God.......however, I do not believe that I have sufficient evidence to state that I am 100% CERTAIN a God doesn't exist.......for all we know we could be simulations inside the Matrix of some alien super beings.......thus I am an AGNOSTIC to the question of whether I know God exists......I don't know

fusion = combining two hydrogen atoms to make helium.....the byproduct of combing the two elements is an expulsion of energy

fission = separating a helium atom into two hydrogens.....the byproduct of separating the element into two elements also results in the expulsion of energy


you could theoretically continue with combining and separating atoms INFINITELY......I haven't read anything that implies that there is a limit to this


the reason Stars can't do that is because they simply following the laws of physics when they do nuclear fusion......they are not intelligent creatures like ourselves who are trying to extract energy

I agree with you that its impossible no matter how much science advances to say with certainty that God does NOT exist. But that still doesn't mean I can't say that I don't believe that God exists.

If your argument is instead on issues of overpopulation and other shyt that would result from people not dying off then you would be right if you assume that we don't advance technologically in other areas such as food production and space travel/terraforming.

You would be right if we assumed that when we achieve immortality that other technologies would not advance past the stage they are at RIGHT NOW. However, I fail to believe that in the year 2100 and beyond we will still be using today's technology to deal with issues of food production, water desalination, and space colonization for the increase in population.

Also you are assuming that people if they live hundreds of years will continue to want to produce children. We are already seeing now in modern western countries that birth rates are declining the longer people live and the higher living standards get. People will always want to fukk. Its just not rational to assume that they will want to keep producing kids. 2-4 kids is gonna be more than enough for me whether I live 50 or 500+ years.
