I think Floyd and Manny have done that. My mom doesn't know shyt about boxing but she knows who Floyd and Manny are.

To an small extent yeah they have, but they've been missing that auroa that tyson and ali had. It's like they were almost right there, but by not fighting each other it held them back. The winner would've definitely transcended the sport. Now that pac is on the decline and floyd is running out of big name opponents, there's just no way it's happening for them. Even if they fight next, it's too late.

i think it's definitely possible for another boxer to transcend like tyson and ali. my thing is, i just can't tell WHO it will be, or WHEN it will be. personally i felt, manny was on the verge of doing it.

Looking back on it, I've always felt Pac's limited English held him back in that avenue.
