Damn this console might send Nintendo to the red. Is this the beginning of the end?

The only games I'm interested in are:

Bayonetta 2
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
Super Smash Bros. 4
Monolith's next JRPG

I gave up on Nintendo when after a month with my Wii I bought my 360.

Then I straight up sold everything from my Wii and just took that credit for 6 months and bought games I wanted to play.
Hell, I re-bought a Gamecube because that was actually a good system, with good games I wanted to play.

Now I play on my PC, PS3, 360 and wait for Nintendo to make a console with a real controller that I give a shyt about again.

I plan to keep my Wii cause it doubles as a Gamecube and its also modded. Honestly I'm sold on the Wii U though. I think it will be a solid console and this is coming from a person that's had a Wii since launch and probably turned it on less than 30 times since then.

where was the hate? i buy every console, im stating facts
since when did facts become hate?

because your facts are skewed breh

watching gametrailers...

load times are insane especially on mario n madden 13 load times are more to do with specific game programming than the system itself. madden is an ea port, i aint expecting much on that and the mario time was nothing worth noting, in all the reviews so far of the game, not one has mentioned load time, i dont think it will be a problem.

cant install games to hard drive / internal memory so? use an external, they designed it to work that way, plus its cheaper. not really a big deal. i personally feel its a move in the right direction

only one gamepad works at a time not exactly, the current games have only been designed around one gamepad, they have not ruled out the use of multiple gamepads down the line. also, how is that even comparable to current gen when they dont even have gamepads to begin with?

most of the games are 720p not 1080p again, thats less to do with the system and more to do with game development. its capable of 1080p, when developers take it there this system will be capable to run it.

cant play multimedia via usb/cd movies? music? ok, but really who really gives a fukk? its a game system. im personally going to rate it by the level of gameplay it brings, but thats just me. also, we haven't even had a chance to try tvii yet

triggers are digital not analog ok, so this will need to be considered for racing games. im not sure how nintendo will address this.

gamepad battery only 3hours true this sucks, but the battery will be changeable, so if you dont want to play with it hooked up to the charger you can swap it out. not ideal, but considering the gamepad itself when i eventually get one i will try it and see how it feels hooked up to the charger

cant play wii games unless you download patch via online so download the patch. issue solved. but really breh, do you even want to play wii games?

if anything, the absence of ethernet port seems to stand out far more than anything in your post.

also in your thread title you say "Wii U 'next gen' with tech worse than current gen...", but you are completely ignoring the biggest technological addition the system is bringing, the dedicated gaming tablet that is integrated with the system gameplay. so it actually has tech that isn't even existent on current gen systems, although they have obviously tried to counter it, but they dont quite have the same thing. im sure when the 720 and PS4 they will have something to compete with it. or maybe they will just say, "fukk that, its a gimmick, here have some next level graphics instead".

either way my point is, if you are a hardcore gamer, i would expect that you would at least be willing to try a new system before writing it off. im always excited about the release of new systems because i know they will bring something new to the table, regardless of the company. i see alot of folks so caught up on bigging up their preferred system and throwing dirt on other systems that they miss out on some good shyt and i just think thats foolish. if you look at everything objectively you would see that there are going to be things we like and things we dont like about any new system

no ethernet port on it... :wtf:

yeah that sucks but you can get a wii LAN adapter

Why didnt you keep the Wii since it also plays cube games instead of rebuying a GAMECUBE :merchant:

Well, I did it because I had not turned on the Wii for almost 2 years, and never thought of using it because I hate moved on from it. I still had my Gamecube games, and a extra controller, so I only spent 30 bucks on the GC which I got about 350 for the Wii and games I had for it.

It wasn't te brightest decision in the world I admit, but I just liked the Gamecube so much, and despised the Wii so much, because I fell into the hype on my memories of Nintendo from my NES through the Cube and they let me down so hard. Hell, I Still only have a DS fat and it works perfectly well.

Bmf fairytale land
Wii U isn't actually Next Gen..well it is because its the first NEW CONSOLE A YEAR ahead of the others, but once the other systems are released it will be more like MID Generation.. unless the gimmick controller takes over the world
