Funny, you love streetfighter. You ever go to an arcade and play streetfighter on a 55in TV?you still gaming on that 02 crt hd tv so of course you would say this
Why is that.
Then the next question is what is the best distance to view a TV for gaming?
When you become educated enough to learn that sweet spot, then you'll realize how huge TVs conflict with whats best for your EYES.
Can you even tell the difference in resolutions if you up close?

One gamepad working at a time makes sense. And since no game makes use of two gamepads, not sure what your gripe is about
Most games are 720p, not 1080p. Thats how it is now, did you expect them to make a 1080p native jump when 720p is just fine?

If you game on a 55in TV, then 1080p is what you need.
Here's the problem. Gaming on a 55in isn't even a good idea
its not great for your eyes, games wasn't designed to be on TV's that big so its tougher to present the game to you in the ratio it was intended.
Basically everybody upgraded to Imax, but games still being shot from regular cameras
Its not a huge issue, but it is an ISSUE that hardly ever gets talked about
If you gaming on a TV that is ideal size for gaming, 720p is all you need right now
Especially since 99% of the games on either system are 720P or LESS
With just a very small handful being 1080p
I'm breaking it down, I'm not wrong. But I'll probably get bombarded by a bunch of clowns who just upgraded there phone from the II to the III or the 4 to the 5

1/ loading isn't okay madden took damn near a minute to load, mario took half a minute to load past title screen
2/ most games on consoles released in 2006 are not 1080p yup you're right, but this supposed to be next gen. don't compare it to current gen. and to be clear i game on a 160inch 1080p projector
3/ how can you even defend a controller that has a 3hour bat life by saying it supposed to be played it short periods smh.

most of the issues i mentioned had nothing to do with software
n every launch title on 360 shytted on the previous gen, same goes for ps2, n ps1
@ being next gen with the graphics of gen current consoles
honestly i applaud Nintendo. at least they're trying to be both smart and different. the typical gamers idea of a console generation is the same style of games that play the same way with better graphics. Nintendo has developed concepts like dual screen handhelds and motion controls and not a tablet like controller that none of the companies outside of them in gaming try to come up with. the closest was probably Sega.
as soon as Nintendo puts out an idea Sony and/or Microsoft try to steal it. Smartglass is just a quick half assed theft of Nintendo's latest concept. Move is direct theft and Kinect is i see what you did there let's copy but try to make it different enough to say its not the same.
Nintendo is in the business of making money. half of yall gonna bytch about a console's price when the next hardware refresh comes up but at the same time criticize Nintendo for pricing things as reasonably as possible by using somewhat dated tech.
