you can't have an intellectual discussion with a fanboy because every opinion a fanboy formulates has one overarching purpose. that's back the chosen brand. the ground shifts, the goal post move, everything changes in favor of supporting the brand. so if the Xbox 360 has better looking games than the PS3 that's a plus to them but if the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One then suddenly console power is downplayed and doesn't matter as much.

the thing about fanboys is the longer they support the given side they do the more arguments they make and the more arguments they make the more contradictions they make. if you find a fanboy with a long enough history behind one brand you'll find that in previous generations they made arguments they don't even stand behind in subsequent generations.

the same Xbox fanboys that shyt on Sony games for having lower scores have to rationalize why Nintendo having better scores on their fall lineup than both the PS4 and Xbox One is acceptable. just like they had to rationalize the Wii as a failure when it outsold the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I agree that the game looks good and deserves praise. It is definitely the best platformer out there. All I'm saying is that people bash other games for the same things they praise Mario for.

You can't call Forza the same old shyt while calling Mario new and revolutionary.

Forza is a racing series and the same concept is still being used to win. You have to be faster than the AI or opponents to the finish line first. How do you do this? Well its simple, you drive clean and make the cleanest cuts you can while turning. All the other shyt on top of that? It's mostly fluff...you know your objective from the moment you hear that buzzer to start the race. This has been going on since the NES...its a racing game.

The Mario Galaxy Games and the recent ones? They almost always bring something new to the table...The Galaxy series was mindblowing because of the camera effects, a whole new controller, and the fact that it was challenging as fukk with your boy Mario flying across your screen...The Galaxy games are two of the best games released in the past 10-12 years breh.

I guess the biggest question is, what games played like huge Mario games before they released?

The OG SMB was the first game that told all you need to know about the game in the first 10 seconds WHILE being a platformer.

The other mario games released...Mario land and everything else is piff.

If you don't like Nintendo style games that's fine but Their line up of games was better received and has been critically rated better than anything on the Xbox One and PS4. That means the Wii U actually does have the best game.
