Saw this earlier today. Absolute piff. I figured there would be a twist knowing that Gillian Flynn cowrote it. What's interesting is that you could argue that they shot a full, coherent second movie of footage that they deliberately didn't include (not just that it got edited down) that explores the history of Neeson and Viola's relationship, and fleshing out the twist.

As a side note, Robert Duval might've had the best scene in the movie (when he and Colin Ferrell get into it), just off of how hilarious it was.

Duval went full Trump in that scene... which is ironic because his character by the outside world was viewed as a white liberal in support of black people.

Yeah, he really did. Breh really just started spouting off all the racist stereotypes people could think of from the 80s and 90s out of nowhere.

I found the character interesting, as I read it as an interpretation of why some of us are so suspicious of white people that claim loyalty to the cause. We're all thinking that that's what's hiding on the other side of it.

The year 3030
thought it was dope. I liked the beginning where they showed how each wife dealt with the deaths/funeral intermixed with the job gone wrong. Daniel Kaluuya killed it...that b-ball scene was :russ:
:violent::boss:...told'em to freestyle then...:ooh::bustback:
no fukks given. and the way he'd just sneak up on motherfukkers :whew:

Liam Neeson ...
:pacspit:

I think a few scenes coulda been cut, like the shyt w/ Michelle Rodriguez kids

I thought this was a good movie.

I just don't understand the end of the movie I'm referring to the diner. It's like they had hate for each other.

Outside of that I really enjoyed it.

I call it sophisticated set it off

NC A&T SU, Hornets, Panthers, North Carolina
just got back, overall pretty entertaining movie
Viola was great
the 7 foot blond was cool

:rudy:I knew Liam Neeson was alive when they didn't show him getting killed,
you can actually see the dummy if you look close enough during the original scene at the beginning:gucci:
I just didn't know if the rest of the crew was faking their death also

The diner scene irks me too. I didn't understand it at all :mindblown:
