Travis Scott is a guy who waste beats imo cuz he ain’t saying nothing of substance even though the beats are crazy. I’m an introspective dude and that’s how I tend to like my rappers. Travis Scott is not introspective in his music regardless of the vibe. That’s why I don’t rock with it. Throw on some Masego or something then we can talk.

I never said trap and funk are alike I even explained my analogy in detail. Nas is my favorite rapper, he’s introspective. So are you and myself. Travis is part of this new school with the playboi cartis, etc. More of get the party jumping and vibing. Denzel Curry may be more your speed. Hip hop is too diverse and still very black to have such a negative attitude. Emcees will always prevail but not everybody got be an emcee.
