tmac was nice and in that era the only talent bettering him was kobe. we can talk about his health and not being fortunate to make it out the first. but he was a certified baller and is a certified hall of famer.

T-Mac was a special talent and one that we may never seen again but I gotta give him a pass somewhat based off his Orlando days. Grant Hill and T Mac didn’t play more than like 50 games together during they’re time together. nikkas talk about A.I having a mediocre supporting cast during his run to the finals but T Mac would kill to have the team AI had.
Then when he got to Houston, He and Yao couldn’t gel because of injuries once again...And after while Yao became they’re #1 option even though TMac was clearly the better player but by ‘08 he was pretty much finished.
As for T Mac getting in the HOF, I think he deserves it but i understand the argument of him not being worthy. He had an extremely short prime if you really think about it and while his numbers during those prime years was incredible, it didn’t lead to much success in the playoffs.
Then you factor in him coming straight outta high school and not having a resume in college before entering the league and in Toronto he didn’t come out the gate on fire like Vince did.

Against Detroit, Tmac struggled once the Pistons started putting Tayshaun Prince on him midway thru that series.
Saying "oh if he was up 3-1, he shouldve won" doesnt hit for me. As soon as they starting playing Prince, Detroit became a whole different animal.
The series against Utah was there to be won in 07, up 3-2. He played like some shyt in Game 6 though. He had a good (not great) game 7, but they lost primarily because Yao's slow ass turned Carlos Boozer into Moses Malone 2.0.
But still thats are when superstars are supposed to "elevate", so I cant knock anyone who holds this series against him (I dont personally)
With that said, I would say out had the worst supporting cast of all time for a superstar.
