Above the fray.
He came in the game multiple times at the end since the spurs had a lot of blowout wins on their way to the finals :stopitslime:
Just looked it up, and to my surprise.....he played 5 minutes TOTAL in that first round series against the Lakers

2013 NBA Western Conference First Round - Lakers vs. Spurs | Basketball-Reference.com

I'm gonna assume it was in the fourth game of the sweep,Lakers won by 21.

My memory of watching the series told me that he was stuck the bench that entire series.

No, we didn't win it all that year. And if that 8 seed is good enough to go up 3-1 they're good enough to win 1 of 3
Woulda won the series if it was best of 5. :yeshrug:

It was a feat in itself getting a 3-1 lead. Maybe if the 2nd best player wasn't drew gooden they would have won

If "If" was a spliff we'd all be high :childplease:

It was a feat in itself getting a 3-1 lead.

It's also a feat in itself to lose 3 straight after staking a 3-1 series lead, regardless of your seeding. :childplease:

Maybe if the 2nd best player wasn't drew gooden they would have won

You mean the way they won 3 with Gooden as the 2nd best player? :childplease:

No need to move goal posts, T-Mac stans. Some guys, no matter their talents, just don't have that :demonic: in them to finish off a deer they've incapacitated from long range but didn't kill. Putting a pistol directly behind the ear, up against the skull, and blowing a hole through the skull just ain't for everyone :francis:

I'm a Kobe stan, but T-Mac slander is neg worthy. Mac was great in his own right. Not advancing beyond round one as the best player on his teams is a big blemish, but he's definitely a HoFer and had one of the smoothest games ever. The George Gervin of the early 00's. :wow:

Maybe the Pistons play differently in the earlier games if it’s a 5 game series :yeshrug:

Kobe Bryant without Mamba Mentality.

:wow:
tmac was much more naturally talented/gifted than Kobe, dude was a true generational talent like Lebron . He just didn’t have their drive or work ethic.

tmac is the saddest nba story that never was. I find it really difficult to rewatched Houston games from that era.

tmac is Andrew Wiggins status but with generational talent/skill
