What is Grant Hill playing 47 games in 4 seasons Alex (RIP)? We can talk about his shortcomings and his own fragility and there is validity there. He's gotta wear a certain amount of that shyt. However, there is only so far you can take a roster built around 2 stars when one is missing. How are far are the Nets going if KD were to play 47 games over 4 years? Or the Lakers if that happened with Bron? And those teams are deep. No denying that he was :manny: that last year in ORL wasn't the same in HOU and was flabby by 30. Luck was bytch even then. The year they actually make it out the first round and take the champion Lakers to 7, he was hurt.

Dude didn’t do any homework. It’s no context just obvious stuff you could find in a basic google search.

Just off the top of my head I remember T Mac hitting at least one big shot in that series and guarding Dirk while running the offense.

I also remember how Yao was getting bullied out of the post late in games by Howard who played point forward(I can’t remember his first name) he had fukked up teeth. Real talk, Yao’s culture failed him it made him soft. He would show glimpses but over all I remember him getting bullied late in games. Boozer would do him dirty also. Those where the two best chances I think they had even though they were underdogs.

Kobe and T Mac was neck and neck with the scoring and popularity. Also with losing in the first round or missing the playoffs all together. That mamba mentality was no place to be found when he quit against the suns.

crazy thing is, when the rockets made it out of the first round when t Mac was hurt, Kobe was the one to beat them. lol at Shane Battier and his analytics in guarding Kobe. Kobe shot all jumpers from the spot that his analytics said he shot the lowest percentage from.

tmac was much more naturally talented/gifted than Kobe, dude was a true generational talent like Lebron . He just didn’t have their drive or work ethic.

tmac is the saddest nba story that never was. I find it really difficult to rewatched Houston games from that era.

tmac is Andrew Wiggins status but with generational talent/skill
what you smokin fam Wiggins is nowhere near or ever be able to carry any team to a 50+ season

Someone mentioned it early and hit it right on the ball he Kobe Bryant without the mamba mentality

McGrady had every weapon at his disposal in his arsenal to dominate on the court. He just didn't have the mentality or luck to have team success and longevity that the great ones do. At 28 while he should have just been entering his prime he was pretty much finished as a superstar on the court. Without the injuries maybe him and Yao are battling against Kobe for the right to go the Finals in 08-10.

One of my fondest memories was when he was in Orlando and I think they were beating Charlotte Hornets, and T-mac said some WILD shyt to Baron Davis (one of my favorite players) and Davis just snapped and killed him for the rest of the series :banderas:
