For me, personally, the OG Ultimates - vol 1 and 2. As far as I remember it got weird after that.

Volume 3 was terrible, They made Black Panther a Weapon X experiment, and mute for some reason too

Heard good things about the Spiderman series over the years, though.

People act like they want movie studios to take chances and when they do they crucify them.
Carol Danvers is a comic book character with a weird history, when I collected comics she wasn't around. She was just somebody Rogue got her powers from. For that she has always intrigued me. Historically she has like no rogues gallery or highly successful story arcs. Making a movie about her is a huge risk as their is litttle worthwhile source material to pull from. I applaud the audacity of making a blockbuster movie about her and will wait and see what they deliver. In Marvel we trust. Excelsior!

Ultimates 1&2, and the Galactus trilogy are must reads. Them shyts are movies on paper.

Ultimate X-Men and Spider man are great but run long(100+ issues) they're full of mini arcs tho(3-5 issues per arc. Some good shyt in there

Ultimate Fantastic 4 was good but I didn't read enough of it to fully recommend

Ultimate Doomsday trilogy (where Reed Richards becomes The Maker)

That's about the best of it right there
