I went to an HBCU too and I'm far from a thug.

But here's your issue.

A lot of black guys for them to date black women the chick must be a damn near dime. But for white or latina the same standards aren't applied. I knew dudes at school talk about "oh some Beyonce bish won't give me no play" fukk black chicks. But yet they NEVER approach a dark skin chick or a let's say a young Michelle Obama type. Those girls exists they not ghetto they not looking for thugs. But they approach very average white or latina girl they see.

I saw it ALL the time. There were TONS of nerdy or down to earth black chicks at my school and YES they were attractive. But for some of you the black girl must look like Beyonce to get your attention but a white bish can look like Jay Leno with a wig and you'll chase her.

What's wrong with wanting an attractive black women? I expect more from my black queens so I refuse to settle for some average black broad.

I'm not trying to marry these white or Latina chicks so I'm a little more willing to let them slide. They can just be alright or cute.

why does it matter, especially if you didn't grow up around asian, latina or white women.

point is a lot of these men didn't receive a lot of positive attention from girls growing up. that's ya teen years well until your mid to late twenties. by that time, women have spent 10-15 yrs fukking and sucking the dudes they've liked. the males, however, are JUST now arriving to a spot where they can get to have their fun too. this has turned a lot of them into spiteful a$$holes that feel no affinity towards black women. A lot of young black women....at least majority of the attractive ones have a type....the same way men like pretty girls with curves, breasts and booty....they like bad boys/swagged up dudes. I have a theory that BW don't care for the middle guys. They want one end or the other end. Extreme polarity. On one end is the rich ballers. They can be rappers, athletes, actors, doctors, lawyers, the lames they dissed before who are now successful. Any black dude with money. On the other end are the broke dudes. They broke as fukk but, they fulfill a physical requirement they crave. They have a big dikk. They're a bad boy. They have the arrogant swag they love. They're handsome. These dudes are broke but, fulfill one of those requirements. BW deal in polarity....rich nikka or poor bad boy. Now........the middle guys. The average guys. The nikkas who don't fit the status quo for what a black man is supposed to be is shyt out of luck. He's a lame. He doesn't have the natural physical qualities black women crave (thugs, bad boys, pretty boys, swag boys). The only chance he has is to come up financially but, that's years away. My theory is ALOT of black men fall into "the middle guy" zone which is why you hear so many successful black guys say the same story.

As others have said, it's much much easier for that average middle guy to get a woman of another race. She sees your potential. She's not tryna to date the next Wiz Khalifa. A lot of things that's lame to our women is normal to them. I'm rambling now but, I want to add this, I remember one of my roommates had a girl. Let's call him Lamont. The girl he was seeing looked like Victoria Allure (porn broad). My roommate was the kinda cat a lot chicks would love. Player. Arrogant. Swag. Anyway, girl was head over heels for him. She'd come over and cook all us (4 suite mates) dinner. She'd vacuum clean the spot. She'd buy that nikka shiit all the time. I remember asking him where his girl was at once and he was like "don't call that bytch my girl nikka We just cool". This broad would bend over backward for duke and obviously thought they were in a relationship while this nikka could care less. I looked at her with disgust eventually cuz I know she gonna be that chick that says nikkas ain't shyt or there's no good men 10 years from now when she spent her prime chasing dudes like him. No shade being thrown at my roommate. I ain't want her. I forgot her name already. It just made me disgusted nonetheless. Breh the truth is that everyone in the black community wants top standards. But these standards don't apply to others.

Nikkas want Beyonce looking black chicks ONLY. If she ain't light skin, long hair, fat ass, big breasts, flat stomach they don't want her. Which is fine everyone got a preference but don't say black women dont want you.....you don't want 80% of black women.

You guys expect Beyonce type chicks to date ugly or broke black men but the average black guys wants top tier black chicks to date them .

The only difference is that average or ugly black women dont date out as much. Like average ugly nikkas do.

Then nikkas got different standards. To date a black woman she must be a dime but the white or other hoes can be a 6 or 7. They'd date an average non black over Kelly Rowland b/c she dark. Then complain about how black women only want thugs or successful men.

Also what's wrong with wanting a successful man with money especially if you an attractive chick? I know plenty of 6-8 scale looking black women who aren't materialistic or are nerdy and black dudes pay them dust, lust after Delicious looking bytchs, and then date average non black hoes.
