Why Matt Ryan is the NFL's 2016 Most Valuable Player

The Patriots played the Cardinals who turned out to be bums and barely won and then played well for 2.5 quarters against the Dolphins without Brady. The defense beat the Texans who were a mess and then scored 0 against the Bills. That's a very small sample size. With that said, I have always said Ryan should be getting major consideration and should be ahead of both Cowboys.

As of right now, Tom Brady has won 10 games and lost won since he came back. In other words, Brady has won as many games as Ryan and Rodgers despite them having a 4 game cushion. He has 25 TDs to 2 INTs. If Brady plays most of the game next week and plays well, I don't see how he doesn't win it. He'll be 11-1 with something like 27-28 TDs to 2 INTs. I repeat, Tom Brady will have won as many games as Matt Ryan while missing four games. With that said, Matt is deserving.

That's because Brady is on an overall better team with one of the best defenses in the league, while Ryan is with one of the worst D's in the whole league.
