so how is it that we humans can figure out that a weaker being cannot defeat the "all-powerful almighty" and he can't?
My guess is that he knew he was fukked from the moment he was kicked out and everything Satan did since then was just out of pure spite. Probably not about winning but about taking down as many possible before it's over.

I personally view the Bible and religious texts as a metaphor for phenomena of the psyche.

Lucifer, which means light, represents, I believe, the ability to think and reason. It was created with the intent to be used for good. However, it has been misused for destructive and lower behaviors (seen prevalent in our society today and for pretty much all of recorded human history).

It has been doing more harm than good because humanity has been misusing it on dumb shyt like wresting power and wealth on this Earth, an earth in which we're all just visiting for a few decades.
I see it on some Gabriel Belmont shyt, where he had to become to supreme evil to gatekeep/check other evil and keep it at bay, while serving as an example of evil to humanity so they know evil still exists. Hating his position but still lived out his purpose to still serve God and catch nikkas slipping

also represents reptilian urges, the snake in snake/eagle iconography

this isnt completely crazy

from Josephs testimony: God is like a dream that keeps fashioning new dreams which create realities that create new dreams

and the inhabitants are never aware of the difference...or maybe there is no difference. Because if you believe in something that fashions reality concepts like death and non-existence become pointless.
Yes, and on the subject of dreams with the belief I have about God being an Intangible Source of Life, many significant events in the Torah (Exodus for instance) occur in dreams.

When we sleep and dream, we have some experience that is less tangible than physical experience, so we don't consider it "real" since there is such an identification with physical reality as the ultimate reality. Yet, if the essence of God is more intangible than tangible, then our physical forms would be more receptive to connecting with it in a physical dream experience than in the physical world.

In many eastern philosophies, what is considered real is what is permanent and what is considered unreal is temporary. This physical world is temporary: our bodies, our careers, our identities, our day to day experiences, etc. Thus, by that definition, this physical existence is just and unreal as our dreams.

The main difference between physical waking existence and a dream is that we can make choices when awake. Yet, you could argue that many people don't really make choices in our waking existence. They are on auto-pilot or just do things they think they like, but only like it because of conditioning from outside sources or society (Internet jargon would use the term NPC's, yet we all do it to some degree).

"Osculum infame is the name of a witch's supposed ritual greeting upon meeting with the Devil. The name means the 'shameful kiss' or 'kiss of shame', since it involved kissing the devil's anus, his "other" mouth. According to folklore, it was this kiss that allowed the Devil to seduce women."

From a biblical perspective, read Job

He/it works for the creator and it’s all about testing your soul on earth.

Universe a self cleansing system and your drop of water self being cleansed through tests before rejoining the big ocean. If you fail the purification here then some hot fiyah process is next to do the job :mjlol:

Yes I do believe there are divine texts, including the Bible.

But to clarify what that means to me, and why I say the Bible is metaphorical, I need to say that my belief in God might be different than others.

I don't think of God as a separate entity that created man and sits back and chills while we do our thing. Nor do I believe that God interferes in the actions and daily lives of man.

I believe that what we call God is some sort of source of Life that is expanding infinitely. It is more of an intangible life essence that permeates and IS everything in the universe (seen and unseen). God is the totality of everything that was, is, and could/will be. So in a sense, everything is God (good, bad, and ugly). I view God as Life itself. When you think about it, can you prove or disprove life? What is Life actually? Like what is it actually?

It is difficult to verbalize since, if you really think about it, this thing goes beyond what we can see, feel, or know. It is intangible, so putting it in words doesn't really do it justice. That is why I also say the Bible is metaphorical. Not saying that it is false. Rather, it is just attempting to make the intangible tangible in language that we can comprehend with our brains.
interesting take breh. The bolded tho. Science can prove life by observing chemical elements and atoms and repeating tests.
