I think this is why they have issues with us. Some think this country is the land of gold, and we are just lazy, and not taking the opportunities we have. Some of that is true, but it goes deeper then that. I know a jamaican guy that told me back home they would give out flyers telling people that we blacks are lazy in America, and they need to come fill up out jobs that we won't take. Plus, they probably watch the news, and such.

I'm not giving them a pass but, I understand. Now, the ones who live here, and know better, need to shut the fukk up, and stop trying to act like their older family members who are just jealous or narcissistic people who have a false sense of themselves.

That's not what I said. I said it's their interpretation of Soul music while putting their spin on certain qualities of Soul, from the Vocals, Basslines and even on to the content whereas Dancehall musically isn't rooted in an actual Afram sound outside of the banter on the mic.

The ones that try to act superior are usually from that class i.e Indians, Chinese, Nigerians,etc. Meanwhile the poorer ones are the most humble, especially Guatemalans.
