Why is it so hard for the Democratic Party to take accountability?

Oh look, another thread that's running interference for the GOP. I hope Elon isn't short-changing y'all.
Oh no, I dared to criticize your masters, the almighty Democrats! Forgive me, for I have sinned against the sacred doctrine of Vote Blue No Matter Who.
The classic ‘any criticism of Democrats whatsoever = secret GOP operative’ cope. Absolutely breathtaking political analysis, truly. I must be on Elon’s payroll, right? Maybe even a Russian bot? Or better yet, a time-traveling Confederate spy sent to destroy democracy? :dead:

If critical thinking were a crime, you’d be the safest man alive.

Y'all still apathetic about Trump.

Y'all still kicking the #bothsides bullshyt.

When will people who didn't vote against Trump take accountability? That's the only group who could have made a difference.

After everything Trump has already done you're still not convinced. I'll never understand.
Of course, it’s impossible to walk and chew gum at the same time. You can only either blindly worship the dems or be a Trump supporter, no in between, right? Maybe if you actually engaged with the conversation instead of regurgitating lazy talking points, you’d realize that criticizing Democratic incompetence doesn’t mean being "apathetic" about Trump. It means recognizing that fear-mongering about him every four years isn’t a political strategy.

The dems ran a weak, uninspiring campaign, took voters for granted, and STILL lost despite outspending the GOP. But sure, let’s just keep blaming the people who didn’t vote the way you wanted instead of questioning why they felt unmotivated in the first place. Keep coping.

These idiots watched Obama win by inspiring people with hope and vision, not just fear-mongering about the other guy, but now they can’t fathom the concept that you actually have to motivate people to vote instead of just screaming "The other guy is worse!" every four years.

Because Moderates actually win elections.

Word to Bubba and Obeezy....both re-elected.
This.

But a lot of these cats think that college campus politics can be applied to the entire country.

Put the hackeysack down and realize the progressives y'all champion are taking money from billionaires too.

Or

Elon fixed the election.

Crazy how the elections are bigger and bigger EVERYTIME but this one, possibly the most important election ever

Trump got THE SAME AMOUNT OF VOTES AS LAST TIME

But millions of Dem voters just vanished. Just enough for him to win.

And win every single swing state.

Trump being the worst possible person to run things is not hyperbole. It's not fear mongering. It's absolutely true.

Bernie Sanders, Jamal Bowman, Summer Lee just to name a few. We'd still be working 16-hour shifts with no weekends, and women would still be begging for the right to vote and work if we listened to people like you. History moves forward because people fight for change, not because they sit around whining about how ‘nothing will ever change.’ You can stay on the sidelines crying about progressives, but the world is moving on without you.

Who are the Dems planning to roll out in 4 years?
You might as well roll out a real progressive because Republicans are going to call them that anyway. Being Republican lite only works when you got a charismatic politician. Don't really see anyone like that on the Dem bench.

I guess the Dems need to launch an investigation then. Will they?

It's up to the pols to reject the corporate cash then. A few did and the Dem party shyt on them.
That is a lot harder said than done but I also think it’s gonna lead to the parties splitting. A progressive party can exist running against donor money if they outright reject that money and make it an issue. A regular Democrat can’t do that because the party as a whole relies on that money.

Same for the Tech bros and MAGA were seeing the infighting starting there too with Bannon out here openly shyt talking Musk.

Populist movements and mainstream parties don’t mix naturally and always split eventually.

The Squad did it but then the weaker ones got done in by AIPAC. They fukked up not opposing Dem leadership and hoping they were seen as the next wave instead of a threat.

Nothing about the word ‘fear-mongering’ means the danger isn’t real, it means you have no actual platform beyond pointing at Trump and screaming. If your only strategy is ‘vote for us or democracy dies,’ but you’re still sponsoring a genocide, parading Liz Cheney around like she’s a progressive icon, and offering nothing but "we wont fukk things up as bad as Trump, everything is just going to stay the same" maybe, just maybe, that has something to do with millions of voters staying home.

:dead: ‘millions of Dem voters just vanished.’ Oh, so now you're suggesting that millions of dem voters just "vanished" into thin air? What's next, a grand conspiracy theory about stolen elections and voter fraud? You're teetering on the edge of full-blown Blue MAGA delusion. Congratulations! If you were today years old when you realized that to win an election, you actually have to inspire people to vote for you instead of just making them hate the other guy, then you, my friend, must be an absolute political genius.

Jamal Bowman getting taken out by AIPAC is one of the reasons America is broken. They blackballed him as a Democrat but he should still have a career there is just no party for him to go to.

I still think Bernie is not seeing the forest for the trees and should start his own political party to the left of the democrats. Working outside of the Pelosi/Schumer dynamic might revitalize the left and give people alternatives to start pushing the Overton window to become more progressive.
