I appreciate you posting that and I actually took the time to look through all of them. Sorry breh, my mind isn't changing. First off, he's playing a crazy straight edge guy - basically an over exaggerated part of his actual personality. Secondly, I just don't see anything special. He's a good speaker but I see nothing that indicates amazing charisma or even really holds my interest. Even the Jericho stuff, like okay, "Did you invent Canada?" Ha-ha.
This kind of proves my point, he would have been a mid-carder at best had he not gotten that lucky break.

Punk's segments were routinely the highest rated last year. PPV buys as a whole were up for 2012, the entirety of which Punk was champ. He went from most popular face to #1 heel. Routinely top-selling merch.

Ryback got a higher PPV buy than any non Lesnar apperance...lol@ PPV buys being up. Hightest rated segments? Yeah thats why AJ ran the show for months and was main eventing. Lol. CM Punk had some of the worst overruns in pro wrestking history. The McMahon and Foley segment did well but even Big Show getting fired outdrew that.
People acting like Punk wasn't corny as fukk as a 'rebel' face though... getting his Bart Simpson on to Lauranitis' Principal Skinner. Coming out with staggeringly unfunny jokes that went over the crowds' heads 9 times out of 10

Nah..he kind of MURDERED Cripple H at first when he brought up the Stephanie stuff but he started to rely on it like a crutch...the contract signing with Cena he brought up Chris Masters being deavored after busting his ass and improving and called him a bully basically. That felt real and was on point because that's who Cripple H really is....a politican who shrugs talent away like it isn't shyt. But the fake laughing segment was one of the worst in history.

Stone Cold would be different in this era but he would be just as popular. You know why? Because he has natural star power that allowed him to become what he was. He was able to think of an original character, something that wasn't copied off of anyone else, no cheap ass shooting promos, no breaking kayfabe. All the catchphrases, the beer truck stunts, the taunts, even the look - all thought of by one man. This is something that Punk is simply not good enough to do or channel. Now let's put CM Punk in the Attitude era, he...wouldn't even be in the WWF.

And how does pointing out that he is a bully or politician amount to some sort of ether? Yeah that must have been soul crushing. It was another occasion where Punk was trying to break kayfabe but on this occasion it seemed like he was clutching at straws. I dont want to use the term 'whining' but most of Punk's material against Haitch was just that.
I remember the IWC being pissed off at HHH for not selling anything Punk said each week. I cant see how Punk got the better of him. But coming from a constant whiner like you I could understand why you would think otherwise
