Smart dumb nikkas.

The 10 highest paid footballers in the World Cup revealed

Article admits to giving Rooney's pre-tax salary on purpose.

Lionel Messi Holds His Status as the World's Best Paid Footballer
Highest paid players in La Liga

Notice the weekly salary they report for Messi and Ronaldo. Taxes are already factored in. They don't trump contracts up for headlines like they do in America.

World's Highest Paid Athletes 2016
How many soccer players do you see on those lists anyway?

I see plenty of them on there. I can tell you're not the brightest crayon in the box, but go ahead and try counting.

I know Neymar has a transfer fee of 200m right now and isn't even the best player on his team. We still wanna compare NBA and soccer money?

You're the one moving the goalposts and you dare calling me dumb? fukking moron.
Now you're talking about money across leagues and countries vs the single NBA? We're talking about individual salaries here, imbecile.
There's twice as many NBA players players in the top 50 and the gap is even more pronounced down the line.
shyt, compare the bottom NBA salaries vs the ones in Europe too:heh:

The money isn't there here in the states. If they can have an American league that is paying like the NBA or NFL black folks will play. Only reason that blacks stop boxing and playing baseball was the increase in salaries and exposure in the NFL and NBA. Plus the NFL began letting blacks play positions like safety, middle LB, OL and even QB. This really changed the game where more kids began to go to football and basketball.
Clint Dempsey makes more money in the MLS than star WR's and RB's.

It would be smarter for black kids to start out playing soccer as their first sport at a young age, and if they don't show talent at a young age, they could transition into basketball (like kobe, nash, and tony parker) or football, because you can start playing those sports late in life and still become a good player.

And Ronaldo/Messi aren't the only ones making money in soccer.

The AVERAGE salary for the top 5 leagues in Europe is like $2m USD. It's on par with American sports and our population dwarfs the countries I'm referring to.

Moronic motherfukka, $2mil is nothing in the NBA. Over 90 percent of players make more than that, dumbass.
If you want a straight up comparison here's one: The Premier League is the richest soccer league in the world and has about the same number of players as the NBA overall (around 450). But NBA players still crush them salary-wise, despite having a salary cap (the EPL doesn't have one). The gap is about to widen with the NBA salary cap increasing dramatically this year and next year.
Mike Conley, who's never been an All-Star, just signed a 5-year, $153 million contract.
Wayne Rooney is the highest-paid player in England and he's nowhere near that ($13m per year).

I think its just American cluture. America has the numbers to dominate any sport because the talent pool is much larger. Just like the Chinese and US dominate during the olymipics, But even then dominating sports takes more than just talent and or skill. It's about about a number of factors. There has to be a good infrastructure to support the skill or talent.

as far as the mental aspect
gridiron football and basketball center around memorizing and executing set designed plays based on reacting to presented situations

football(soccer) is more improvisational
the separation between messi/ronaldo and the rest is quality of training and time put into training nothing mental mystical or esoteric

once you got touch ball control passing and shot up to that elite level being elite athletically can only be a plus

seems like common sense

You don't have to have a soccer field to play soccer. Most of the Argentina Brazil players are from the hood and they play in the streets

You only need a soccer ball, and open space to play.

Same cats talking that "there are no soccer fields in the hood" shyt... have played basketball and football in the streets.
