Why don't we as Black folks make a bigger deal out of the abysmal failing schools that the kids of our community attend.

We are on social media talking about eating politics and pop culture but nothing about the sorry state of schools in our communities. I don't have kids but too many Black kids are graduating from schools ill prepared to compete in the economy. Why do we accept this?
Because we run the school systems. Blame the adminstrators and they'll blame the teachers, Blame the teachers and they'll blame the students Blame the students and they'll blame the Parents and the parents are single Black mothers and we can't have that.

The reason is that it eventually it will lead back to who is raising the majority of black children with a complete lack of discipline which happens to be single parent households. That means black women are the primary and sole provider and caretaker of the children(many of which who all share similar fathers) so anything that would make them look bad is a big no no on the coli. #protectblackwomen

Can't blame them solely it's a combination of factors.

Because all we do is blame the parents. Which is essentially the same thing as doing nothing because we will never be able to raise other peoples kids. Only our own.

Until somebody comes up with some sort of plan to hold parents accountable nothing will change.

And yall would never be on board with facing legal penalties every time your child fails a class. So no plan of that sort will ever come to fruition.

Only option is to have the teachers better equipped to handle it . But once again we dont do that because we think blaming the parents is enough.

Just a dead end of blame essentially

It's a lot of teachers that are trying but really our best and brightest in large numbers don't become teachers because it doesn't pay. So you gotta give the folks who are willing to try some kind of empathy.

Kinda hard to care about the schools when you dont care about who you nut in. Schools not that hard when you work with your kids at home. Kinda hard to work with the kids at home when you are concerned with things that arent important.

Cats just cant seem to accept when its time to be a family man. Always looking for the next stepping stone.

I think the only solution is to demand more from these schools, it’s a lot of bullshyt ass teachers out here and they destroying these kids before they even got a chance to fully realize they potential

It’s easy to say blame the parents but school is supposed to offset whatever happens at home, school is where kids supposed to really expand they minds and really express they creativity this supposed to happen regardless of what happens at home, we all pay way too much in taxes for these folks to fukk over the kids, and this ain’t just a black community issue we just get the worse of the results
