hip-hop IS the hood.

hip hop hasn't been the hood since 1979 when people started making records and took that shyt out of the parks. The greatest practitioners, creative minds and business minds of hip hop aren't stuck-in-the-hood types.

Besides, I really should've hit you with the :duck: on this being a classic in the hood. Where's the receipt for such a major claim?

Album was good not classic. Sheek flow was still suspect and all over the place. The Lox are very talented but they're actual song crafting skills aren't up to par. Its why they mixtapes were always a day one purchase but albums not so much. Outside of Gangsta and A Gentleman they official releases dont have reply value IMO
