Some black people can't understand how a black person could work and be successful without white help. I remember when my mom saved up and moved out of the hood, my friends mom said "oh she must be on section 8". It's like when you see a pretty dark/brown skin girl and people ask if they're mixed. People think black excellence is only achievable with a white man behind it. We as a people have been beaten down and it's still odd for some of us to see rich blacks gettin it. Back in the day the slaves who had the best clothes and ate the best food were all close to massa. I can understand some of it.
